50/50 Boards
50/50 Boards are a key to RMHA's Fundraising. They have always been used to pay for referee's.
After listening to our parents we are implementing a few changes to the 50/50 boards.
It was discussed at the last executive meeting that we will not be doing the monthly 50/50 and go back to the old way of selling at the games. All of the deposit books and 50/50 game boards are in the room under the stairs.
Deposit slips need to be filled out and taken to CIBC in Redwater. If you can not get the funds to the bank, please leave it with the rink attendant and he will leave it in the office safe for me to pick up. Please use this as a last resort option. Please have your sellers indicate on the deposit slip the team that the 50/50 funds were sold for and remember to leave the white copy in the deposit book. If it is an exhibition game or tournament game, do not fill out the deposit slip as the money is used to pay the refs after the game.
The 50/50 game boards must be left in the bin and the winner must be tracked in the tracking sheet which is on a clipboard on the desk.
As for the Annual 50/50, this will still be sold. The cost of this is $50.00 per square. There is a green binder in the 50/50 room that has detailed instructions as to how we are tracking those sales. The funds for this are also to be deposited to CIBC in Redwater. There are 200 squares available for purchase, which will have a potential winning of $5,000.00.
