Redwater Minor Hockey Fundraising
Here are just a few of the fundraising opportunities we offer!
RMHA Fundraising
I would just like to say THANK YOU to all members of RMHA for their commitment with 2010-11 fundraising. It was very successful and all of your time and efforts are very much appreciated.
Now we are working towards the 2011-12 hockey season, and the RMHA executive is looking for participation from all our members to fill the fundraising quota.
There will 4 fundraising options this year (possibly 5 if we get the Oilers 50 50). Every family will be asked to sell tickets in the Electronics Raffle, and complete participation in one other fundraising event. The upcoming events are listed below. Please indicate which event you would like to be part of as soon as possible, as the summer events are coming up quickly. Successfully selling 30 tickets per family in RMHA for the Electronics Raffle and participation in one other event will complete your fundraising quota. Completing your quota will result in $250 being credited towards your child’s hockey fees for the 2012/13 season or reimbursed to you if 2011/12 is the last year of your families involvement in the RMHA. Electronics Raffle tickets can be sold throughout the hockey season, with the draw being held at the yearend windup. There will also be a second and third place prize in the raffle which will be announced before tickets are distributed.
(1) The Golf Tournament will need 24 Volunteers ASAP (June 18, 2011)
(2) Discovery Days Beer Gardens 24 Volunteers ASAP (Dates)
(3) Casino 32 Volunteers (TBA in April,May, or June)
(4) Electronics raffle (Ticket sales will be ongoing throughout the hockey season)
Please contact Doug Macleod, or sign up on the website under fundraising to apply for your fundraiser event.

Fundraising is a fun way to meet new people, lower children’s hockey fees, and try something new! RMHA's goal is to provide various options to help hockey parents feel comfortable with fundraising. Fundraising happens all year long, with some events scheduled for the summer months, which provides flexibility to hockey parents who would like to work their fundraising events during the off season.
Some of the options currently available to get involved with are listed below. Please feel free to contact the fundraising co-ordinator if you would like to be part of any event.
Jun 18, 2011 - 2nd Annual Redwater Rush Golf Tournament
Aug 19, 20, 21, 2011 - Discovery Days Ball Tournament Beer Gardens
4th Jun 2012 - Casino
The fundraising money will be included in the general income of the RMHA and be used to pay for ice time, referee’s, jerseys, equipment, clinics, etc. The 2010 fundraising events are listed below, please print off and fill out the form and return it to your team manager as soon as possible. On October 1st forms will be gathered to do the initial placement for fundraising events. If there are too many people applying for the same event, a draw will be held to see who is chosen to work that event.
If you have any fundraising ideas, please don't hesitate to contact our fundraising coordinator with the details
